There are at least seven chapters of the book I’d like to read, and only 3-5 presentations I’d like to see–and half of them are concurrent. Traveling from Tokyo on my weekend is both expensive and arduous… On my budget, I could go to the conference or I could buy the book–I’m leaning towards buying the book. However, those few presentations at the conference I’d like to see don’t have corresponding chapters in the book!
Is there any plan to tape the sessions and sell downloads or “print” copies for a couple hundred yen apiece??

Sorry to hear you can’t make it down to Nagoya. We are planning to publish proceeding early next year, but we don’t know yet which presenters will decide to write up for publication. I am hoping that we will be able to offer some video content on this website after the event, too. So please keep watching.
I have to admit, one of the reasons I offered to put on the conference in Nagoya is because I can’t afford to keep travelling to Tokyo and Osaka where conferences are more often held… ; D
